Balobi
Processors is a state-of-the-art fish
processing facility situated
on the quayside in Port St Francis, the hub of the squid industry
in South Africa. We process package and export Squid, Hake, Tuna,
Swordfish, Pilchards, Catfish and Line Fish.
Commercial fishing was started with our own boats in 1975 and
the processing and exporting of Squid,
Hake and other fish has
been done since 1990. In September 2000 we moved into our new
premises in Port St Francis.
Product is secured from vessels belonging to our own group of
companies as well as from several other vessel owners.
